The laser focusing module (LFM) allows precise adjustment of the focus position using triangulation, which is particularly helpful when teaching welding paths in order to quickly find the focus position. The user can achieve repeatability in the hundredth range, which is significantly more precise than focusing via the eyepiece. The LFM is firmly mounted on the processing head and can be adjusted for focus lengths of 80 to 240 mm. After optimal adjustment of the welding focus, the module is coordinated with the laser source's positioning laser and remains permanently on the system to ensure a consistently precise focus position.
